Kings’ Forest Primary School is a Community school catering for pupils from 4 to 11 years of age. At present there are about 368 pupils on roll. From September 2007 there will be 192 children on the upper site and 176 on the lower site. We have committed to single age classes this year and have two parallel classes in each year group which will move up through the school.
The two sites will be organized as follows. Station Road (lower site) will house Reception to Year 3 children and Mulberry Drive (upper site) , Year 4 to Year 6 children. We are in the process of having a brand new school building built on the Station Road site, which will be ready for us to move into in Spring 2008. We are very excited about the new building which will make our learning more fun and interesting and provide us with lots of opportunities to learn how to look after our world.
Kings’ Forest School will be a centre of outstanding technology, ready to give our children the experience they need to embrace their future. We believe our school offers a lively, open environment with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, creating a sense of caring, value and self-esteem for all.

| The new school has an open plan library and part of the plan for an artistic environment is to include quality artwork for children. There are two RSJ beams above the library space, and these will have words/quotes and sculptures attached to them. You might like to look at the website of the artist and see them for yourselves.
