Bonjour!!!

The learning of French takes place on a weekly basis and provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience for all pupils. Learning another language raises awareness of the multi-lingual and multi-cultural world and introduces an international dimension to pupils' learning, giving them an insight into their own culture and those of others.

Children in KS1 learn all about themselves. This includes numbers 1-10, simple greetings and asking simple questions. Children in KS2 progress further and study topics including Healthy Eating, Games and Songs and The Weather.

The children thoroughly enjoy the role play, speaking and listening and interactive opportunities within the subject.
