Kings' Forest is not just an eco-school on the inside! The whole school was built to eco-friendly specifications in line with European guidelines.
- This building is heated by a woodchip boiler.
- Sedum plants on the rooftops reduce the amount of surface water run-off.
- Tanks below ground collect rainwater for plants.
- The rooms are in line with European guidelines in terms of acoustics and light and there is full access for disabled pupils, visitors and adults.
- Windows are tinted to avoid glare
