The school is beginning to develop links with other schools in the world.  It is important that our children become true global citizens with a knowledge and tolerance of other cultures.

The success of our international work and linking activities has been recognized. We have been awarded the Intermediate Level of ‘The International School Award’.  This is a prestigious national award that recognizes the international dimension of our curriculum. 

Linking Partners
We are developing partnerships with schools in Slovenia. China and Uganda.

Slovenia
Year 3 have formed a link with a Primary School in Cvetka Golarja.  We have exchanged information about our local environment and are currently making a CD of our schools to share with each other.

China
We have just formed a link with a Primary School in Weihai in the east of China.  Mrs Brooks was very lucky to be invited to join a party of Head Teachers on their visit to China, to establish links for local schools.
