Our new creative play furniture makes acting so much easier! As part of our Literacy topic on lists, labels and captions we set up a café and a kitchen in our classrooms. We took orders, designed menus and prepared vegetables. It was great fun.

In class 3 we have been looking at handling data in Numeracy. We have sorted shapes by the properties, we sorted Smarties by colour we even did a traffic survey. We made a pictogram by drawing pictures of our favourite fruit and sticking it on a chart that Miss Cahn made. We were very good at reading the pictogram when it was finished!

In Year 1 we find out about sound. We talk about how sound travels and look at instruments to find out how they make sounds.
