As part of our 'You are what you eat!' topic, Class 6 made characters and animals out of vegetables and fruits during their holiday for a competition. Each child one a small prize for participating and there was a larger healthy prize given to the overall winner. We had lots of fun looking at the models we all made and talking about what they were made from.
|
| We also tasted six different fruits from around the world and recorded our dislikes and likes for a science investigation - we laughed at the 'Ugli' fruit, were surprised about the inside of a papaya and we weren't too impressed with the physalis as we had to hold our noses to swallow it! |
