Boccia

On Wednesday 5th March, ten children took part in a Boccia and New Age Kurling Festival at Kingsfield School.  It was a fabulous afternoon and all the children tried really hard.  The behaviour, both walking there and during the festival, was fantastic! The following children took part in the festival: Danielle, Joshua, Lucca, Chloe, Lily, Ethan, Shashanth, Kai, Teagan and Kardelen.

Kurling and Boccia.

Kurling is based upon a winter olympic sport played on ice and Boccia is a para-olympic sport. These are games the children can now practise in PE lessons and during lunchtimes. 
The children learned to use new apparatus focussing on aim and control. Great fun was had by all.
