Year 4's trip to Willsbridge Mill 
The aim of the day was to do some geological studies - the history of rocks! They completed a Time Diggers activity in which they searched for time capsules and the contents told stories of different eras of the earths life forms. Stream Rollers activities was based in a small stream where they discovered the stages of the rock cycle. Finally the went to the Swamp Forest where they searched for fossils. A fun day had by all!

On Thursday 28th February, Classes 3 and 4 took a trip to the zoo.
The weather was lovely and we all loved watching the gorilla eat his lunch! We were lucky enough to have a session in the Education Centre where we learned all about minibeasts. It was super! We were able to hold and touch some minibeasts and even made a human centipede! We loved using the digiblues to capture all of our special memories, we took so many photos, they are still downloading now!
We had such a fantastic day and can't wait to write our recounts in literacy.
