A THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FROM THE GOVERNORS

Now that we are approaching the end of another school year I looked back over this year and evaluated just how many events, activities , exciting curricular days and wonderful educational opportunities the school and staff have offered to our children.

Many of the clubs on offer and outside activities are provided in the staff’s own time and the Governors are grateful for their dedication and “ going the extra mile “  to make the school such a vibrant learning community.  I am sure that we are all appreciative of this and the children have benefitted enormously from the fun they have had whilst learning.

The support from parents, in attending school events, workshops, parent evenings and contributing to school charities etc.  is also valued, not least by your children who look forward to parents involvement in their school life.  

Having just attended the School Fair organized by the Friends of the School, it was great to meet so many parents and members of the community and to see the support that is evident and to congratulate the Friends on their magnificent efforts to fund raise to provide the extra items for the children that school budgets cannot afford.

A big thank you to the children who are so enthusiastic and a joy to be with.  Good luck to those who are leaving us and to those who will be moving up a year at Kings’ Forest, have a good Summer break to prepare for another good year of achievements.

Lastly, I would like to thank the Governors for their time, wisdom and support to the Headteacher, staff and whole school community.
