Your role as our new music teacher would involve:

Teaching whole class music lessons from Nursery to Year 6 including:

  • Singing
  • Percussion
  • Recorder
  • Transcription and composition
  • The development and leading of a school choir
  • The promotion and management of peripatetic teachers
  • Organising community music performances across the year including our annual learning partnership concert at St. George’s Hall, Bristol
  • Contributing to our school singing assemblies

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can bring joy to our school through music
  • Is a talented musician able to play the piano
  • Is driven to make Kings’ Forest a school known for its music
  • Can act under their own direction
  • Can form positive relationships with all children
  • Is a positive team player
  • Is willing to go the extra mile for the children we serve
