Working in Partnership

We have a good partnership with parents and carers and know that regular communication is the key to a happy school.

Our partnership with parents and carers is reflected in our Home School Agreement. Our agreement was drawn up through careful consideration with children, teachers, parents and governors. We ask that you read the document carefully before signing it. It is at the centre of what we do at Kings’ Forest Primary School.

Our communication network includes:

  • Website information
  • Text messaging service
  • E-mail service for information
  • Regular newsletters
  • Termly class letters
  • Parent/carers evenings
  • Celebration events
  • Performances and assemblies
  • Afternoon tea sessions
  • Family Support Worker
  • Active PTA

In addition, staff are always willing to discuss concerns or worries you may have about your child either informally or through a meeting arranged via the school office.

Parents and carers are given the opportunity to discuss any concerns at regular consultation evenings which are held three times a year. During Term 6 you will receive a written report. This report will celebrate your child’s achievements and outline any areas for nurture or development.
